The Hero Shooter Marvel Rivals Unabashedly Introduces its Latest Lady Loki Costume

While some may call Marvel Rivals as an Overwatch clone, creator NetEase deserves praise for finding creative ways to engage its unabashedly thirsty audience. Introducing Lady Loki, a completely new skin for the current Strategist hero Loki, offering players a comics-accurate version of the Asgardian trickster god(dess).

Not Hela, But Loki

Despite earlier fan speculation, the previously teased Lady Loki costume is definitely not a skin for Hela. Rather, it is a complete reskin of Loki the character, featuring new voice lines. Judging by the official preview, Lady Loki keeps all of Loki's core powers: his projectile attack, his trickery skill, and his clone ability. The only change is her new appearance, designed to appeal to an segment of fans more than ready to spend their Lattice.

A Look and Sound in Action

Here is a glimpse at Lady Loki on the battlefield, along with a sample of her new voiceover, performed by voice actor Abby Trott. Notably Trott is also the voice behind Magik in Marvel Rivals.

The character's lines and onscreen presence bring a new energy to the familiar kit.

Now that NetEase has broken the seal with this gender-bent skin for Loki, the Marvel Rivals community is busy speculating about similar swaps. Fan suggestions currently include:
