Which players have earned spots in the pundit's Premier League top performers lineup?

Following each set of English football games throughout the campaign, sports analyst Troy Deeney will give his selections and manager of the Week.

Here are the latest picks. Are you in agreement? Let us know via the response area at the bottom.

Keeper

Alphonse Areola (West Ham): The Hammers could have been trailing by six at Bournemouth but for him. Massive moment, stepped up and demonstrated real class. Some top goalkeeping to earn them a 2-2 draw. Losing might have ruined their whole season.

Defensive unit

Daniel Munoz (Crystal Palace): He's in the running for season's best. Fans mention Arsenal's squad. He has been the standout player by far.

Murillo (Nottingham Forest): One would need to be a wild optimist to say 'He scores and we overcome Liverpool 3-0 at Anfield'. You'd have got long shots on that. He performed brilliantly. He's becoming a powerhouse. He is truly a challenge. Pleased to observe his form similar to before.

Malick Thiaw (Newcastle): I observed him multiple matches last year in Italy for AC Milan and he had difficulties due to errors. But at Newcastle he's been a monster. He displays great strength and imposing and looks elegant. It seems he's found a spiritual home.

Ferdi Kadioglu (Brighton): Not usually a defender, leaning towards a modern type offensively. He is a excellent acquisition for Brighton. Few are astonished at them unearthing more talent from obscurity? It seemed releasing Pervis Estupinan it raised eyebrows but the Seagulls understand what they're doing.

Central players

Sander Berge (Fulham) and Elliot Anderson (Nottingham Forest): Alike in style and they make it for the identical cause. Their sides were victorious, everyone will talk the scorers, but absent these individuals the sides struggle. They perform brilliantly. They halt attacks, they support going forward.

Eberechi Eze (Arsenal): The man of the moment. Many Arsenal fans, like my child, expressed skepticism about his ability as the man to secure victory. Three strikes in the key match and now they want to honor him permanently of him. Finishing, poise, he ran the show. The best player on the pitch.

Morgan Rogers (Aston Villa): Maybe this is aspect I share with Thomas Tuchel on - he has got to a point now where it is extremely tough to bench him. I didn't think he began well the term, I believe he was a little bit entitled and thought he maybe join to Chelsea, and likely desired it, but he appears to have settled down. Two superb finishes in the Leeds match pulled his side from a deficit. He proved decisive.

Forwards

Callum Wilson (West Ham): I mentioned he doesn't look his normal self. It seemed he'd lost a yard. However, incredible. That's all I can say. He shone. Outstanding in his movement and with his two finishes.

Harvey Barnes (Newcastle): A very notable player. He performs strongly, typically sharper off the bench, but due to Gordon's absence so he is required to feature. He squandered a huge chance against Manchester City at 0-0 with his simplest attempt. But to have the mental fortitude to place himself into tough scenarios and score twice was great.

Boss

Sean Dyche (Nottingham Forest): He arrives and outperforms Arne Slot. A wonderful gameplan. It might have been five or six for Forest and nobody could have argued.
